My name is Robert Crawford and I would like to take a moment and say thank you.
Without dog owners like you, the stray population would be twice what it is now.
It's the responsible owners who care for their canine companions that seek training. Many just want their dog to listen better or to perform tricks on command and while we welcome those pups into our program, it's the "last-hope" dogs, the "I-can't-do-this-anymore-please-help!" owners and the "we-WERE-going-to-put-her-down" cases that we live for.
Potentially saving a dogs life and watching an entire family come together with happy tears in their eyes because Jasmine doesn't attack little dogs anymore, or Milo now loves kids....THAT'S why we keep doing this!
We find meaning in training a service dog to help give that veteran the support they need to get back to a normal life again, or the service dog who saves the little girl's life when she has a seizure or helps someone with restricted eye sight to navigate cars while crossing a busy intersection.
Of course, the first step in all of these cases is you.
Seeking help, whether it's for a potential therapy dog or just obedience training, is what separates the Good owners from the Bad.
Our Goals are to help keep dogs with their owners and to train service dogs for those in need. We utilize scientifically based methods to achieve these goals. As pet and service dog owners ourselves, we understand the needs of our clients and their 4 legged family members.
We also specialize in behavioral modification training for fearful, reactive and aggressive dogs. We do not use any harmful training tools or methods. We use systematic desensitization and counter conditioning as well as positive and negative reinforcement.
Please enjoy the site and feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or if you would like more information on our training programs or puppies.
